You’ll feel a cold sensation which is not painful and similar to a small sting or ice-cold sensation. No anaesthesia is needed as the extreme cold causes anaesthesia allowing the treatment to be tolerable.

There is minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or scabbing at the treated area, which typically heals within a few days.

Wear an SPF30 sun protection or higher when outside
Apply recommended soothing gel if required
Refrain from picking or scratching
Do not apply heat, avoid sun exposure or sunbeds
Avoid soaking in water, avoid bathing, swimming and hot tubs
Do not apply friction or rub against the area
Although it is best to try to leave the treated area uncovered, a plaster or simple dressing may be applied if it is in an area which may lead to rubbing and aggravation. It is important not to pick at the crust as this may lead to scarring.
